Congratulations to Christy and Bruce on their beautiful wedding, which they hosted at the stunning Stone Eagle Golf Club in Palm Desert, California! Stone Eagle Golf Club is a one-of-a-kind venue: a golf course nestled in the mountains just south of Palm Springs. With rolling green fairways set against the reds, purples, and fiery oranges of the dessert mountains, this wedding venue is one of the most gorgeous we’ve ever had the chance to photograph! It was an honor to capture the love, joy, and special moments for Christy and Bruce that radiated throughout the day.

COJ Events planned and designed the magical day, taking cues from the natural desert landscape, and pairing them with modern and colorful elements for a clean and classic theme. The ceremony was held on the picturesque 18th hole of Stone Eagle Golf Club surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain views with COJ Event’s very own Cathy O’Connell officiating the wedding! Exotic tropical floral arrangements by Aperitivo Design sat atop driftwood vessels lining the aisles leading to a modern gold geometric altar elegantly draped in white linen. Christy looked breathtaking in her white strapless lace gown, while Bruce looked dashing in his classic black tuxedo. To “tee-off” the ceremony, Bruce literally tee’d off from the 18th hole—an unforgettable start to the beautiful and emotional ceremony. Afterwards, the bride and groom exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family, and had a special moment during the ceremony where the couple gave Bruce's daughter a special necklace as a symbol of their love and commitment to her as well.

The reception was held at The Aerie, Stone Eagle Golf Club’s renowned dining and entertainment facilities. Decorated with lush tropical floral arrangements that perfectly complimented the natural desert landscape, the tables were adorned with candles, and delicate gold-rimmed glassware that highlighted the elegant and timeless setting. The three tiered cake featured cascading flowers in burnt umber, deep purples, and delicate dusty pinks. Christy and Bruce shared their first dance as a married couple and guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks. The energy was high as everyone celebrated the love and commitment of the newlywed bride and groom.
