There are some couples we meet that have such an infectious sense of joy, we can’t help but smile as we go through their photos. Auriane and Erin were one of those couples! From the moment we met them, their chemistry and energy can only be described as genuine and exuberant. Their love was forged during the pandemic, and for this reason their wedding was extra special as it was one of the first times their two worlds were able to come together in celebration of their union.

Auriane and Erin decided to hold a private ceremony the week prior, but that didn’t stop them from hosting a raucous reception to celebrate their marriage! Because their wedding ceremony was so intimate, they wore special dresses for the reception party. Auriane donned a vintage-inspired cream silk gown with lace gilet coverlet and white strappy sandals while her wife, Erin, wore a lace bodice flared ballgown with glorious sparkle Keds!

The couple decided to host their reception at Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo, California. This farm estate exudes rustic chic, boasting numerous wildflower gardens, refreshing fountains, and meandering stone pathways throughout the property. The elegant cocktail hour space overlooks the Santa Monica Mountains with panoramic views of the Ventura Valley. Rustic iron gates opened to a well-appointed reception area with large tented structure, chandeliers, and green hedges providing a sense of intimacy.

Just before sunset, we took the brides to a quiet corner of the estate property where there was a lush field of grass and a swing, a perfect romantic spot for some golden hour photos. After a night of dancing, the couple were treated to a sparkler exit—a perfect start to their new life together as wife and wife!
