Sunrise Griffith Observatory Couple's Session in Los Angeles, California

Situated in the chaparrals of the eastern Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles lies Griffith Park. An urban retreat offering panoramic views of the city of Los Angeles from Downtown LA to the Pacific Ocean and even the Hollywood Sign. Miles of hiking trails adorn it's foothills and is home to the Old Los Angeles Zoo. At it's highest point lies the grand Griffith Observatory, an acclaimed historical LA landmark. Griffith Observatory, an art deco masterpiece, was opened in 1935 on what was once an ostrich farm. Admission to the observatory has been free since 1935 in accordance with Griffith J. Griffith’s mission to inspire an interest and make astronomy accessible to the general public. The Observatory and surrounding Griffith Park boasts a rich history and unparalleled landscape in the heart of Los Angeles, the perfect place for couple or engagement sessions.

This is where we met Britta and Brynn for a sunrise couple session. It was 7:00am on a Sunday and a layer of cotton clouds blanketed Los Angeles. The air was crisp but it wasn’t cold and the Southern California sun was only outshone by their genuine warmth and charismatic energy.
