Los Angeles Arboretum Engagement in Arcadia, California

David and Tim, two Los Angeles-based Doctors, hoped to take engagement photos that would highlight the natural beauty of Southern California. Having both moved from the East Coast where they attended medical school, the couple has come to fall in love with vistas of Los Angeles and the Southern California Coast.

The Los Angeles Arboretum is a fantastic location for engagement photography. Lush botanic gardens, picturesque water fountains, a bamboo garden with its immense green shoots reaching toward the heavens—each provided a magical, almost other-wordly backdrop for the unfolding love story of the couple.

I had the immense pleasure of photographing David and Tim’s wedding as well. To see images of their Santa Barbara Vineyard wedding, please click here and to see their Santa Barbara Wedding featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, please click here.
