Todd Danforth Photography was founded in 2009, and we have collectively photographed hundreds of weddings around United States and internationally.

Yes! Todd earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from Lesley University College of Art & Design. There, he was mentored by award-winning documentary and commercial photographers who taught him the foundations of composition and lighting as well as the history of art and photography.

We work with the latest professional-grade Canon digital cameras and equipment. With extensive training in film photography, we also offer optional film photography collections for clients who are interested in a more premium, unique wedding photography experience. Todd Danforth Photography is a full service wedding and event photography team. We work closely with our clients prior to their event for engagement photography and timeline planning, during the big day we document their wedding in exquisite detail, and after the weddings we deliver their images, handmade albums, and fine art archival prints. We also work with our clients for family and documentary photography sessions to capture all of life’s important memories.

Our photography service is entirely custom and tailored to your unique needs. Rather than offering packages which mix and match services and products, we price our services on an hourly rate depending on how much coverage you need of your wedding. This always includes: two photographers (Todd & Adam), pre-wedding consultation and timeline building, and all final individually color-corrected and enhanced photographs delivered within three weeks in a personalized password-protected online gallery. Additional products and services to elevate your experience, such as film coverage, fine art prints, and bespoke handmade albums are available for an additional cost.

Our clients also enjoy unlimited access to our wealth of knowledge and extensive expertise from our years in the wedding industry. Engagement photos are a beautiful way to add a personal touch to your wedding website, save the dates, and wedding invitations. An engagement session is not only great practice in front of the camera before your big day, but also allows us to get to know each other better before your wedding! Every wedding is unique, however, we've found that 9 hours is a good starting place for most weddings, and can provide ample time to tell the story of your wedding day without feeling rushed. We do offer additional hours of coverage as well as elopement collection for smaller weddings or weekday weddings.

We are based in Los Angeles and Boston, specializing in fine art and destination wedding photography. For weddings outside of our local area, which includes Southern California and New England, travel fees may apply. In Malibu, we love Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, and Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar in Santa Monica. The California desert is home to a few of our favorite wedding venues, including The Parker in Palm Springs, La Quinta Resort in La Quinta, and The Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage. In Los Angeles, we love The Ebell of Los Angeles, Carondelet House, and Vibiana. Santa Barbara is one of our favorite destinations, and our preferred venues include the Rosewood Miramar, The Ritz Carlton Bacara, and the Canary Hotel. In Beverly Hills, the Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air are our top favorites. In Simi Valley we love Hummingbird Nest Ranch and Quail Ranch. We love Pelican Hill in Newport Beach and Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, both located in Orange County.

We focus on delivering the highest quality images which collectively tell the authentic story of your big day. On average, the number of images we deliver may range from 600-1,000 individually color-corrected, enhanced, and polished photographs.

We take great care to ensure that the images we deliver to our clients are the best of the best. This includes individually selecting, color correcting, and enhancing every photograph you will receive.

We pride ourselves on delivering individually color-corrected and enhanced images for weddings and engagements within 3 weeks of the event date. This is an industry-leading time frame and ensures that you are able to relive and share memories with your loved ones soon after your big day. All photographs are delivered in a private password-protected online gallery where you have the ability to order prints and create favorite collections. Expedited delivery of wedding images is available for an additional fee.
