Just a short drive north of Los Angeles, Malibu Creek State Park features sweeping views of the Santa Monica Mountains, golden fields, and dramatic California oak trees.

This is there we met up with newly engaged couple, John and Alex! An attorney and a scientist, this power couple wanted a location that felt casual yet special, and Malibu Creek State Park was the ideal choice! Just before sunset, the golden light filters through the trees reflecting off the golden grass and these hills sing.

So if you want some alone time with your partner for engagement photos, reserve your spot during off-peak hours (e.g., weekday afternoons).
