Los Angeles Athletic Club: Getting Ready with a View
The day began with Joel and Bono getting ready at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, a luxurious setting with a backdrop of the city's skyline. The rooftop provided a breathtaking panorama of Downtown Los Angeles, setting the stage for a day filled with love and laughter. Our cameras captured some truly stunning moments, with the cityscape as their backdrop.
Joel and Bono each wore personalized three piece suits in red and blue, incorporating elegant details that were personal to each. Their wedding party, a mixed group of friends and family wore stately black and white with chic leather harnesses—a wonderful touch with an edgy nod.
A Lego, Panda, and Mondrian Dream
Joel and Bono's wedding theme was a unique blend of their individual interests and shared passions. It was a delightful fusion of Lego, pandas, and the iconic Mondrian style, resulting in a modern and playful ambiance that perfectly reflected the couple's vibrant personalities. The amazing and always colorful, Holly Gray of Anything But Gray Events, planned and designed Joel and Bono’s wedding to perfection, incorporating their unique interesting into one cohesive vision that reflected the couple perfectly.
Millwick: A Venue with Industrial Elegance
The heartwarming wedding ceremony and vibrant reception took place at Millwick, a remarkable venue nestled in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Its industrial charm, coupled with lush greenery, served as a beautiful canvas for the couple's imaginative wedding vision.
The décor was an absolute showstopper! A combination of both fresh flowers and Lego creations adorned the tables, creating an enchanting atmosphere that was truly one of a kind! The color palette paid homage to Mondrian with stark primary colors, invoking a sense of artistic brilliance and modern flare.
A Multicultural Celebration
As a nod to their Filipino heritage, the ceremony seamlessly blended English and Tagalog, ensuring that both families and friends felt included and connected to this incredible moment. It was a heartfelt testament to the couple's commitment to their roots and each other. One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Filipino cuisine is renowned for its delectable flavors, and Joel and Bono's wedding was no exception. Guests were treated to a feast of traditional Filipino dishes, with a special mention for the mango sticky rice dessert that left everyone craving more.

Just when guests thought the surprises were over, the grooms had one more up their sleeves. During the reception, they unveiled a surprise music video that they had filmed, leaving everyone in awe and delight. It was a perfect testament to their shared love for creativity and self-expression.
