The Venue: Location, Inspiration, and Design

Congratulations to bride and groom, Ali and Austin, who hosted their elegant black-tie wedding at the exquisite La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, California. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the desert, their vision of a modern and sophisticated wedding came to life in spectacular fashion! Using the venue's sprawling green lawns, towering palm trees, and gorgeous mountains as a jumping-off point, the fabulous team at COJ Events planned and designed Ali and Austin’s wedding incorporating chic, minimal, and modern elements to perfectly compliment the landscape of the desert. The contrast between the sleekness of the decor and the abundant white floral arrangements (made up of white roses, calla lilies, and baby's breath) added a touch of refined simplicity, complementing the venue's natural beauty flawlessly.

The Bride and Groom: Gowns, Attire, and Details

Ali, the bride, donned a gorgeous white A-line gown with delicate lace detailing and dramatic train. As a special surprise for her bridesmaids, she wanted to have a private first look before her future husband saw her—and their reactions were absolutely priceless! The groom, Austin, sported a timeless black tuxedo perfectly complimented by a colorful pocket square—gifts to all the groomsmen and a nod to his late grandfather. The couple were also joined by their adorable puppy, Sumo, who provided a dose of cuteness!

The Ceremony

The couple opted for a first look and private vow reading, a beautiful and intimate moment before the celebration began. The ceremony site incorporated a dramatic round design, with the couple positioned in the center of the oval standing in a cloud of baby’s breath and their guests surrounding them on all sides. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the country club’s well manicured grounds for some stunning sunset portraits.

The Reception

The reception took place in La Quinta Country Club’s elegant ballroom. Featuring massive chandeliers draped in baby’s breath and long banquet tables, this reception was the epitome of sophistication. One of the most spectacular moments of the evening was during the couple’s speech. On Austin and Ali’s first date, Ali lost a cherished coat. Years later, Austin was able to track down this coat and gift it back to her on her wedding day! We’ll never forget the look of utter surprise on her face when she wore it again for the first time in years!

After a mid reception outfit change, Ali wore a chic short white dress. We couldn’t miss the opportunity to make some intimate portraits with her and Austin in this fabulous second look! To conclude the night on an unforgettable note, the bride and groom took the stage alongside a talented live band. The electrifying energy in the room was palpable, creating a moment of pure magic and a wonderful way to end the night!
