Bel Air Bay Club Wedding: Two Grooms Say “I Do”
Grooms Carson & Cesar planned their wedding at Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, California. Nestled in the breathtaking coastal paradise between Malibu and Santa Monica, California, Bel-Air Bay Club stands as a majestic beacon of elegance and grandeur. With its stunning ocean views, luxurious amenities, and exceptional service, this esteemed venue provided an unforgettable experience for the grooms and their guests. The grooms planned their big day, taking inspiration from the classic California Spanish architecture of the venue and envisioning a cliffside estate dinner party during the golden age of Hollywood. Carson and Cesar manifested a day that was romantic, intimate, and gave a sense of nuanced masculinity. Florals consisted of tropical red and orange proteas and bird of paradise blossoms paired with lush greenery and modern metallic accents
The Grooms Wedding Attire
Carson opted for a stylish deep maroon jacket tuxedo with black velvet loafers, while Cesar sported a timeless navy tuxedo jacket with black lapels and leather oxfords. The couple prepared for their big day together, a private and intimate moment just before taking each other hand-in-hand as husbands.
Wedding Ceremony: Incorporating Bel Air Bay Club’s Natural Beauty
The ceremony site was set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean on Bel-Air Bay Club’s iconic ocean view lawn. This idyllic setting set the stage for the magical and romantic affair. In planning the ceremony space, Carson and Cesar made the bold decision to go minimal–no florals, no arch! Instead, guests were treated to an unobstructed view of the natural beauty of the venue, with the grooms framed perfectly by majestic palm trees. The bilingual ceremony (in English as well as Spanish) was intimate, poignant, and heartfelt. After the ceremony, the couple was whisked away for romantic sunset portraits around Bel Air Bay Club's stately grounds.
A Wedding Reception at Bel Air Bay Club
After cocktail hour, guests made their way to the grand ballroom, an intimate and sophisticated space with tall ceilings, chandeliers, and a gorgeous fireplace. During the reception, Carson and Cesar had one more surprise for their guests: a live drag performance by the incredible Jo Lopez, who dazzled the crowd with spectacular dance numbers. Carson and Cesar laughed and danced the night away surrounded by their closest friends and family, all united in the celebration of an incredible love story.
