Sunset Engagement Photos at the Boston Public Garden

The Boston Public Gardens and the Boston Common are among the top locations in the city for engagement photos and couples sessions. Featuring beautiful foliage, classic architecture, romantic bridges, water features, and wildlife, the gardens are a beautiful oasis in the middle of downtown Boston!

This is where our grooms-to-be, Johnny and Brian, decided to have their engagement session, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with their decision. We happened to meet them on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year, but this did not detour us from making some beautiful work. Johnny and Brian are a fun-loving couple and wanted to capture that in their engagement photos. Towards the end of the session we asked them if there was anything else they were hoping to capture and without hesitation Johnny replies “I want to climb a tree.” And that’s exactly what we did!

We were also able to incorporate some film photography as part of this beautiful engagement session. The images below are a mix of both digital and film photos. We are so excited to photograph Johnny and Brian’s wedding next summer at Brae Burn Country Club in Newton, Massachusetts.
